Settlement at Cowlitz North of the Columbia River: Thirteen Canadian Families under the charge at this time of Rev. Mr. Boldue consisting of 60 souls the number of their stock &c. unknown.

From the best information which can be obtained the H. B. Comp.West of the Rocky Mountains Raised in 1842 :

10,000 bush. of Wheat
10,000 lbs of Butter

In possession of:

7,000 head of Sheep
2,000 head of Cows
2,000 head of Horses
